Award-winning websites 2026

Sites recognised for interface, motion and craft, kept as a reference rather than as tools.

This category is different from the rest of the radar: these are finished websites, not tools you install. Each one was recognised by Awwwards, and each listing records the award, the date and how the site is tagged there. They are here because the people who build developer tools also build the sites that launch them, and it helps to see what the current standard for motion and interface craft looks like.

Evaluating

What to look for

Questions that are far easier to ask before a launch than after one.

Scroll it on a phone first

Award sites are judged on desktop. The ones worth learning from still hold together on a small screen with a slow connection, where heavy WebGL and scroll effects are the first things to break.

Find the one idea

Most of these are built around a single strong move: a transition, a 3D scene, a way of navigating. Naming that one idea is more useful than trying to copy the whole site.

Check what it costs

Open the network panel. A site that looks effortless may ship tens of megabytes, and knowing the price of an effect is part of deciding whether it belongs on a product page.

FAQ

Questions about this category

Why are websites listed on a developer tools radar?

As a reference for design and motion. They are kept in their own category, labelled as launched, and each description says plainly that the entry is a website rather than a tool.

Where do the awards come from?

From Awwwards. Each listing states which award the site received and on what date, taken from the site's own page on awwwards.com at the time it was added.
