Privacy policy

This policy explains what information TeaserTrack collects, why we collect it, and the choices you have. It applies to teasertrack.cc and its related services.
Information we collect
Account information. When you sign in with GitHub or Google, we receive your name, email address, profile picture, and a username from that provider. We use this to create your TeaserTrack profile.
Content you submit. Tool listings, descriptions, links, logos, and teaser media you upload are stored so we can review and publish them. Approved listings are public, along with your username and profile picture as the maker.
Activity on the site. We record upvotes you give so each account can vote once per tool.
Newsletter and contact details. If you subscribe to the newsletter or send us a message, we store your email address and anything you include in the message.
Technical data. Our hosting and database providers process standard request logs, such as IP address and browser type, to operate and secure the service.
Usage analytics. We use Google Analytics to measure which pages are visited, how people arrive, and roughly where they are, such as country and device type. This helps us see which parts of TeaserTrack are useful. Google Analytics does not receive your name, email address, or account details from us.
How we use information
- To run the directory, including sign in, submissions, review, and upvotes
- To send the newsletter you subscribed to
- To reply to messages you send us
- To prevent abuse, spam, and fraudulent activity
- To understand how the product is used and improve it
We do not sell your personal information.
Cookies
We use cookies that are necessary to keep you signed in, and Google Analytics cookies that count visits and tell apart new and returning visitors. We do not use advertising cookies. You can block analytics cookies in your browser settings or with the Google Analytics opt-out add-on without affecting how the site works.
Service providers
We rely on a small number of providers to run TeaserTrack:

These providers process data on our behalf under their own security and privacy commitments.
Retention
We keep account and listing data while your account is active. Newsletter emails are kept until you unsubscribe. Contact messages are kept for as long as needed to handle your request.
Your choices
You can edit your profile and listings from your dashboard, delete your listings at any time, and unsubscribe from the newsletter using the link in any email. To delete your account or request a copy of your data, contact us or email support@teasertrack.cc.
Changes
We may update this policy as the product changes. The date at the top shows when it was last updated.
